My UXperience at #UXIndia2024, in 5 pointers

Summarize with

1. Met some really interesting folks and had a great time catching up. Yet, I could not meet up with many other individuals I had hoped to!

2. Got a chance to team up with a few creative minds and participate in hands-on workshops by Merkle, Atlassian, and IBM. Apart from the workshops themselves, I also loved how each workshop had its own unique, distinct style of hosting!

3. All the keynotes were top-notch. Particularly enjoyed the keynote by Siva Sabaretnam & Kate Moran. Siva spoke about the role of product design in the next decade of change, especially for the designers right here in India with a thriving startup sceneπŸ’‘! Kate shared a perspective on treating AI as an intern. I’m definitely keeping an eye on the career progression of Ari, the AI intern. Who knows, might be our future CEO one day... πŸ™‚

4. Attended quite a few inspiring Ted-like talks. My favourites were by Vivek Raju, and Sarah Gibbons. Vivek practiced what he preached. He spoke about storytelling, using storytelling. Whenever I will eat a burger now, it'll remind me of stories πŸ”! I also strongly resonated with Sarah's thoughts on how 'Taste and Discernment' are becoming a differentiator in today's AI era. Will designers get away from designing screens and design constraints for these intelligent AI tools!? πŸ€”

5. I also had the opportunity to speak at this year's conference and share what we’ve been building at Cashfree Payments. Bringing #RiskShield to the forefront and talking about the 'Proactive UX' approach in fraud prevention was such a rewarding experience! Sharing a few pictures from the talk 🎀

Thank you Kaladhar Bapu, Ranjeet Tayi, Shree Ransubhe, Jabeen Shaistha and the entire UXI team for bringing together this epic community of over 3000+ designers onto India's largest UX stage! πŸŽ‰
